Year 6: Economics and Business Student Workbook is filled with activity sheets to accompany our Year 6: Economics And Business BLM. This activity-based resource aims to make lesson planning and marking easy with each student having their own workbook. This also makes progress monitoring easier.
The activity sheets within this great Economics And Business Teaching Resource have been designed to help students become more responsible as consumers. This book encourages students to consider the advantages of buying products which are Australian and environmentally friendly. It asks them to think about family spending, the need to budget, and appreciate that resources are not limitless. Key economic terms, such as trade-offs and opportunity costs are taught by asking students to think about how these concepts relate to their own lives. The final section of the book focuses on differentiating between businesses and industries.
Well-supported by relevant illustrations, the activity pages within the Year 6: Economics and Business Student Workbook can be completed independently or with teacher assistance.
This workbook is used in conjunction with the Economics and Business Teachers’ Manual.
