People and Places is the first book in the series Social Science Activities for Australian Schools. It helps students understand how we need to care for our environment, how we have to adapt to living in different environments and how environments are used to serve many different wants and needs. It provides students with the opportunity to develop the vocabulary to discuss different features of environments and generally helps them to understand how different environments are created and used.

People and Places helps students to understand these key curriculum concepts through a number of well-designed activity sheets which are visually appealing, practical and can be completed at a number of levels.
