Computer Skills for Little Kids provides an introduction to Information and Communication Technology for junior primary. This book provides activities and opportunities for students to develop knowledge and understanding in the use and operation of everyday computer technology, and explore and discuss the use and operation of computer technology in everyday situations.
Covering three main areas: Getting to know the computer, Using Multimedia, and Using the Internet, children are able to complete the activities with or without the use of a computer. Group and individual work consolidate skills taught in the classroom, and though targeting ‘little kids’, any computer learner could use the activities. Computer Skills for Little Kids will provide a starting point for many teachers who don’t know what to teach, and don’t know where to start. A great beginner’s resource!
