Australian Geography Series Workbook 4: The Environment Sustains Life has been written specifically for students living in Australia studying Geography in Year 4. It has been divided into three parts: The Importance Of The Environment, Natural Vegetation And Climate, and Sustainable Management Of Waste And Natural Resource. All of the activity sheets have been carefully constructed to meet the requirements of the Australian National Curriculum.
Notes for the teacher are in the accompanying Australian Geography Series Teachers’ Manual and contain answers, suggested extension activities and ideas about how to introduce each activity sheet. The topics developed for each section of Workbook 4 are well-supported by illustrations, graphic and photographic resources, which will help stimulate students’ thinking about the way we live locally, nationally and globally.
