The Health Workbook For Year 3 is a Student Workbook connected from our AHPES Australian Health Series and accompanies AHPES Health for Years 3-4: Part 1 and AHPES Health for Years 3-4: Part 2. This activity book has been written to help younger students to become health literate.

The activity sheets within AHPES Health Workbook for Year 3 have been designed so that students can show their understanding of key concepts by: analysing visual images, drawing on their own experiences, interviewing their peers, representing their ideas visually, interpreting short scenarios and longer texts, describing, selecting, researching, imagining, playing minor games, prioritising, role-playing, ordering and assessing.

This activity based resource for Year 3 students is well-supported by relevant illustrations and the activity pages can be completed independently or with teacher-assistance.

This workbook is used in conjunction with the AHPES Health Teachers’ Manual.
