The Our Environment series is designed to assist teachers in the implementation of an outcomes based approach to the teaching of Humanities. The series explores various environmental aspects with a strong emphasis on school environmental concerns with a community focus. The series is divided into five sections including land, air, water, energy and waste, each of which contains activities which provide practical experiences in focusing on and monitoring environmental concerns within the community. Titles in the series include:

- Waste and Energy
Our Environment Book 2: Water and Air has water activities that focus on water use at homeand school; water waste; storm, bore and drinking water; water collection and storage; and wetlands. Air activities focus on pollution, fires, dust, wind erosion, classroom heating and cooling, and industrial toxic gases/smoke.
